Mr. Bratic has extensive experience in intellectual property matters including: valuation
and licensing related to patents, trademarks, trade dress, trade secrets, know-how and
copyrights, calculation of lost profits and reasonable royalties in connection with patent
and trademark infringement litigation, and antitrust issues involving intellectual property.
He has been engaged as a financial expert and provided testimony in numerous
intellectual property matters in a variety of industries including biotechnology, computer
hardware and peripherals, telecommunications, software, environmental remediation
technology, networking systems, and manufacturing.

Mr. Bratic has also conducted extensive studies in strategic management of intellectual
property for corporate clients, including domestic, foreign, and multinationals, joint
ventures, and development stage companies. He has performed research and analysis
regarding industry dynamics and intellectual property management practices, and
evaluation of corporate intellectual property strategies relating to patents, trademarks,
copyrights, trade secrets, and know-how. Issues addressed have included valuations,
license-in/license-out, buy/sell strategies, portfolio optimization, license enforcement and
negotiating terms of business agreements involving investment in intellectual property.

Mr. Bratic has also addressed numerous professional associations, conferences, and legal
forums on issues such as intellectual property valuation and licensing, counterfeiting and
fraud, strategic management of intellectual property, and the calculation of reasonable
royalties. He has also been published in numerous professional publications, legal
reviews, and trade journals.
