Interactive Teaching Programs (ITPs). Note: These are just personal preferences noted down as an aid. There are ICT notes at the bottom of each unit for each year group. These are not instructions but are ideas of how the ITPs can be used. ITPs were not included if it was not clear how to use them within 1 minute, if the skill can be taught just as effectively without it, if they are boring or if they need to be opened with Active primary as access to this software was not available.

Click on different partitioned parts of a number. Can hide/reveal total. Differentiation by numbers on menu (TU/HTU/decimals). Can hide and reveal different parts of the sum and answer. Solve problems with totals but missing numbers by clicking on different parts.

Using 2D shapes Duck Pond Number boards
Sort different shapes by their features. Addition and subtraction problems with moveable objects. Different grids of numbers, money, fractions, decimals…. Can find pairs/totals etc…. Beat the clock to find the missing number in the sum. Can be 10/100/0.1……… Click to reveal different amounts of stars. Hide/reveal total to allow estimation. Ordering objects on shelves and lines from clues. Identify missing numbers on the grid. Identify missing numbers on a bigger grid. Vary different numbers of coins using arrow buttons and hide/reveal total. Hold and drag digit cards on to each other to make numbers.
