Seton Hall University was founded in the middle of the 19th century and is the oldest Christian university in the US.
John Littleton on Seton Hall University I completed my undergraduate education at Seton Hall University, based in South Orange, New Jersey. Since that time, I have maintained contact with the alumni association, which I also donate to on an ongoing basis. Seton Hall University was founded in the middle of the 19th century and is the oldest Christian university in the US. With approximately 10,000 students divided into 9 colleges, Seton Hall University addresses a number of different areas of study, including art, science, theology, nursing, business, law, medical sciences, and diplomacy. A number of prominent politicians, including several governors and members of Congress, as well as business leaders and athletes, have graduated from these departments. In addition, the university’s school of medicine was the first in the State of New Jersey. The Seton Hall University Office of Alumni Relations provides a range of services for graduates of the university’s programs, including volunteer and donation opportunities for the more than 85,000 Seton Hall University alumni living and working around the world. Some of the benefits conferred to alumni include access to campus libraries, a permanent email service, and discounts on a wide variety of products and services. Additionally, the Seton alumni association hosts a black-tie gala in recognition of outstanding members, organizes international travel programs, and supports the activities of local chapters, as well as distributing a monthly e-newsletter and an alumni magazine.
