                              11th – 19th September 2010
•   Come and join the events to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi between Saturday 11th to Sunday 19th
    September 2010.

•   Saturday 11th September: The celebration will begin with a parade to start at 11:00am prompt
    from St. Georges Park (Church Rd entrance) and travel along Chalks Rd, Whitehall Rd, Gerrish
    Ave, Cooksley Rd, Gilbert Rd, before entering the Temple to perform Ganesh Sthapana.

•   Ganesh Sthapana and Aarti at 1:00pm. Bhojan Prashad will be served thereafter.

•   Sunday 12th September: Bhajans/Garba will start at 2:30pm, followed by Main Aarti at
    6:30pm, and then Ganesh Pooja. Bhojan Prashad will be served thereafter.

•   13th to 17th September: Main Evening Aarti will be performed at 7:00pm followed by the
    Ganesh Pooja. Simple Bhojan Prashad will be served thereafter.

•   Saturday 18th September: Bhajans will start at 4:00pm. Main Aarti to start at 7:00pm
    followed by Ganesh Pooja. Bhojan Prashad will be served thereafter.

•   Sunday 19th September: Ganesh Visarjan - please note that Ganesh Visarjan will be celebrated
    at 10:00am. Bhojan Prashad will be served at 12:00pm. Leave the Temple at 2:30pm prompt to
    reach Portishead Marina for the Visarjan ceremony. NOTE: Kindly please do not bring your
    own Murthis for the Visarjan ceremony.

•   Sponsoring for each day’s Aarti will be £101 per family. If you would like to sponsor an Aarti,
    please bring your own Aarti with you.

•   Sponsors and Volunteers are urgently required as part of performing Seva for this event. If you

•   Marshalls are urgently required to ensure everyone enjoys safe participation of the procession. If

•   This is the 2nd event for Bristol – please help us to make it as successful as the 1st event by
