Dear FDA Commissioner, I am writing to express my oppositi proposed new rule and guidance on engineered (GE) foods. We oppose agency’s voluntary labeling and n proposals in support of all the poi citizen’s petition currently before the agency (docket No. OON-1396, and OOD-1598). Fd GE foods should be labeled so I am 4 j All informed and have a choice. &E foods should not be assumed to be “generally recognized as safe” and should have mandatory pre-market safety testing @mere should be a moratorium on GE foods until long-term studies show they are safe for human health and the environment.
