									Installing the new VPN client:
    On your home computer:

      1. Go to http://public.truelink.com/usersup

      2. Click on the ‘Cisco VPN Client’ link for your Operating System, and choose to save the file to your
         PC.

      3. When download finishes, Run/Open folder

      4. Unzip contents

      5. VPN client Installation should start automatically (if not, double click on ‘vpnclient_setup.exe’)

      6. Restart PC when installation finishes

      7. Go back to http://public.truelink.com/usersup

      8. Right click on ‘TUI Connection Profile’ and choose, ‘Save Target As’. Leave the filename as
         TUI.pcf, and save it to your PC

      9. Run VPN Client program

      10. Click ‘Import’ button

      11. Navigate to the TUI.pcf file you just saved and click ‘Open’


Connecting via VPN:
Connecting for the First Time – Creating a PIN:

      1. Run the VPN Client

      2. Highlight the ‘TUI’ connection entry and click ‘Connect’

      3. When prompted for your username, enter your windows/unix username

      4. Enter the 6 digit number on the token at that moment

      5. You will be prompted to create a PIN – enter your desired PIN and click ‘OK’ (please don’t use
         ‘1234’ or repeating numbers like ‘1111’)

      6. Re-enter your new PIN when prompted, and click ‘OK’

      7. Wait for the number on the token to change, and then enter your new PIN AND the current code
         on the token in the same line (e.g., if your PIN is 1234 and the 6 digit number showing on the
         token is 567890, the passcode will be 1234567890). Click OK

      8. You will now be connected to the TUI-SLO network. See instructions below for how to Remote
         Desktop to your office PC.

Connecting after the first time:

     1. Run the VPN Client

     2. Highlight the ‘TUI’ connection entry and click ‘Connect’

     3. When prompted for your username, enter your windows username

     4. For the password, enter your PIN AND the current 6 digit number showing on your token in the
        same line (e.g., if your PIN is 1234 and the 6 digit number showing on the token is 567890, your
        password will be 1234567890) (see instructions above for creating a PIN)

     5. If it doesn’t work the first time, wait for the number on the token to change and then try again -
        a few times if necessary. Always wait for the number on the token to change between attempts.


How to Remote Desktop to your TUI-SLO office PC:

     6. Once connected via VPN, open the Remote Desktop Connection client (Click StartAll
        ProgramsAccessoriesCommunicationsRemote Desktop Connection)

     7. Enter your computer’s name in the ‘Computer’ field (ask User Support if you don’t know your
        computer’s name). [Note that you may need to enter it as ‘name.slo-off.truelink.com’ if just
        ‘name’ doesn’t work.]

     8. Click ‘Connect’. The login screen will come up, login normally to your PC.

     9. When you are finished, you can either select to:
           a. ‘Log off’ your office PC: Click Start  ‘Log off’ on your office PC window, or
           b. You can ‘Disconnect’ from your office PC: Click the X at the top right of the middle of your
              screen, which will leave all your open programs and documents open ready for the next
              time you login.

     10. Always disconnect your VPN connection when you are finished working on the TUI-SLO network
         for the day:
              a. Right click on the VPN padlock icon in your system tray at the bottom right of your
                  screen, and choose ‘Disconnect’.
