							MILITARY PERSONNEL APPROPRIATION (MPA) MAN – DAY PROGRAM

                            AIR FORCE INSTURCTION 36-2619


MPA man-days support short-term needs of the active force.

The request will contain:

A brief statement of the active force mission

An explanation of how the man-days will result in its accomplishment.

The impact of the man-day denial

Per diem fund citation if needed with breakout of amount for travel/lodging/rental car,
etc.

Grade range required

Date augmentation is required

Justification from Active Duty Personnel

A statement on attempts to obtain active force assistance

AF Form 49, Application for MPA Man-Day Tour. To include rental car if needed with
cost estimate

Please allow 7 work/business days from start of tour for 1- 138 Days MPA request to be
processed, 10 work/business days for 139 days or more. 139, 179, 270, 365 day require a
waiver request for each one.
