 Indoor Bushing Type                                 BCT and PICVD Style - 600 volt
                                           Application:
                                           - suitable for oil immersion
                                           - metering functions (including revenue billing)
                                           - protective relay operation (differential, over-current)
                                           - as a winding temperature indicator current source
                                           - for line drop compensator control

                                           Construction:
                                           - annealed toroidal cores of high grade electrical steel
                                           - 200C enamel coated copper wire
                                           - secondary turns uniformly distributed around the core for each tap position
                                           - pressboard, kraft and crepe paper insulation
                                           - optional wire lead sizes, lengths and colors with polarity clearly marked

BCT Bushing Current Transformer            - B CT Style 932, 3,4,5 Series: cotton tape covering
 Cotton Taped for Oil Immersion
                                           - PICVD Style,    137 Series: cotton tape covering, glyptal varnish dipped

Installation:
          - in bushing turrets, or suspended from the underside of the transformer cover, around the shank of bushings
          with ground screens (condenser type with specified ‘ T’ lengths)
          - mounted internally on a lead inside a transformer - in this case an insulating tube must be used to provide
          the lead to ground dielectric strength


 BCT’s and PICVD’s are custom designed to meet customer requirements.
