Section 1: User Accounts
Create a new account
   1. From the administration home page (http://www.erwinconsult.com/admin) select
      “Add New User” from the bottom of the “Registered Users” table
            Note: in order to create a new account you must be logged in
   2. You will be directed to the “Create New User Account” page.
   3. Fill in as much information as is known (the first name, last name, email address
      and account type are required).
            Note: the client account enables users to access only files which
               have been assigned to them, the employee account allows
               users to upload files and assign them to users, while the
               administrator account enables the user to delete user accounts.
   4. An automated email will be sent to the account holder providing them with an
      authorization code and instructions to login and complete their account setup.

Complete account setup
   1. Follow the link provided in the confirmation email to the authorization page.
   2. On the authorization page enter the authorization code provided in the
      confirmation email and select “Continue”.
   3. On the subsequent page, verify that all of the information is correct and enter a
      username and password.
   4. When finished entering all of the required information, select “Insert Record” to
      finish creating your user account.

Login to the Erwin Consulting Engineers file share
Client login
   1. Go to http://www.erwinconsult.com/clients.
   2. If you have not already logged in, you will be redirected to the client login page.
   3. Enter your username and password and select “Login”
           Note: if you do not wish to login each time you visit this site you
             may check the “Remember me” box to store your login
             information.

Employee/Administrator login
   1. Go to http://www.erwinconsult.com/admin.
   2. If you have not already logged in, you will be redirected to the client login page.
   3. Enter your username and password and select “Login”
           Note: if you do not wish to login each time you visit this site you
             may check the “Remember me” box to store your login
             information.
Remove a user account
  1. Go to the administration home page (http://www.erwinconsult.com/admin).
           Note: you must be logged in as an administrator in order to
             remove user accounts.
  2. Find the user account in the table of registered users and select the delete button
     (a large red “X”) at the end of the desired account entry.
  3. On the subsequent confirmation page verify that the correct account was chosen
     and select “Delete User”
  4. If the name displayed on the confirmation page is incorrect, select “Cancel” to be
     directed back to the administration home page.
Section 2: Upload Files
Upload a file to the server
  1. From the administration home page (http://www.erwinconsult.com/admin) select
     the “Upload New File” link at the bottom of the “Uploaded Files” table.
  2. On the upload page enter a name and description for the file, the project which
     the file is a part of, and select the “Browse” button next to the “File” box to
     browse to the file on your computer.
  3. After filling out the required information, select “Insert Record” to upload the file
     to the server.
          Note: depending on the size of the file and your connection
             speed uploading to the server might take a few minutes. Do not
             select “Insert Record” more than one time.

Assign user accounts to uploaded files (while uploading file)
  1. After the file has been uploaded to the server, you will be redirected to the “User
     Access” page.
  2. From this page you may verify that the file was uploaded correctly by selecting
     the link in the file box at the top of the page.
  3. To assign access to a new user select their name from the drop-down menu at
     the bottom of the page and select submit.

Assign user accounts to uploaded files (after file upload)
  1. On the administration home page (http://www.erwinconsult.com/admin) find the
     file which you wish to add user access to.
  2. Select the edit button (the pencil) at the end of the desired file entry to be
     redirected to the “User Access” page.
  3. From this page you may verify that the file was uploaded correctly by selecting
     the link in the file box at the top of the page.
  4. To assign access to a new user select their name from the drop-down menu at
     the bottom of the page and select submit.
  5. When finished assigning access to user accounts, select “Done” at the bottom of
     the page to be redirected to the administration home page.

Remove user access
  1. On the administration home page (http://www.erwinconsult.com/admin) find the
     file which you wish to add user access to.
  2. Select the edit button (the pencil) at the end of the desired file entry to be
     redirected to the “User Access” page.
  3. Find the user account in the list of users with access to the selected file and
     select the delete button (a large red “X”) at the end of the desired account entry.
  4. When finished assigning access to user accounts, select “Done” at the bottom of
     the page to be redirected to the administration home page.
Remove uploaded file
  1. Go to the administration home page (http://www.erwinconsult.com/admin).
           Note: only the user who originally uploaded the file or an
              administrator may remove a file from the server.
  2. From the list of uploaded files select the delete button (a large red “X”) at the end
     of the desired account entry.
  3. On the subsequent confirmation page verify that the correct file was chosen and
     select “Delete File”
  4. If the file displayed on the confirmation page is incorrect, select “Cancel” to be
     directed back to the administration home page.
Section 3: Access Files
Access files from the client interface
  1. Using your internet browser, navigate to http://www.erwinconsult.com/clients.
  2. If you have not previously stored your login information on your computer (see
     Client login section) you will be automatically redirected to the login page.
  3. Once logged in, you will see all files which you have been given access too.
  4. To view an individual file, select the link at the bottom of the respective file box.
  5. If a pop-up opens asking if you wish to open or save the file to disk, select
     “Save”.

Access files from the administrative interface
  1. Using your internet browser, navigate to the administration home page
     (http://www.erwinconsult.com/admin).
  2. If you have not previously stored your login information on your computer (see
     Client login section) you will be automatically redirected to the login page.
  3. Once logged in, you will see all files all of the files which have been uploaded at
     the bottom of the administration home page.
  4. To view an individual file, select the link at the far left of the desired entry in the
     table.
  5. If a pop-up opens asking if you wish to open or save the file to disk, select
