					                         WEAVER FAMILY TREE

Craven and Elizabeth Winneford Weaver came to Greene County, Illinois, in 1836
from Lincoln County, Tennessee. They were my great-great-great grandparents.
Craven, born ca. 1775 in North Carolina and Elizabeth, born in 1775, also in North
Carolina were married ca. 1798 in Halifax County, North Carolina. Craven died
August 1, 1847, at age 78, in Greene County and Elizabeth died December 24, 1861,
at age 86, in Athensville, Greene County. Craven is buried in High Street Cemetery,
White Hall, Greene County. Elizabeth is buried in Greene County location unknown.

They had 12 children who were born in Halifax County, North Carolina and
Rutherford, Bedford and Lincoln Counties in Tennessee from 1800 to 1826. As far
as I know most of the children came with them to Greene County. There is no
indication that they moved a lot. The counties divided and organized during those

Their fourth child, Matilda, born in 1804 in Rutherford County, Tennessee married
Micajah Stone, born September 15, 1793. They were my great-great grandparents.
They were married in Tennessee. Date and exact location unknown. I am guessing
they were married around 1824-25 in Lincoln County, Tennessee, as their first child
was born in 1826 and Micajah and Matilda were in the 1830 census in LCT with three
children. See Stone Family Tree.

In 1836 the Weaver and Stone families moved to Greene County, Illinois where,
according to the biography of Noah Stone, the son of Micajah and Matilda, land was
settled upon. Macajah died after they moved to Greene County, date unknown. He
does not appear in the 1840 Greene County census but Matilda appears as head of
household with seven children.

There is some indication that Micajah Stone was born in Greenville, South Carolina,
but this has not been proven. The location where he is buried is unknown.
