					                         G3i SELECTED FOR NY JUMPSTART PROGRAM
                          “Fluorochemical - Free Finish for Textiles”

Pittsford, NY – G3 Technology Innovations,LLC (G3i) has been selected to receive a Jumpstart award with
the Cornell Center for Materials Research (CCMR) for the fall 2007 semester. The CCMR Jumpstart program
is funded by the New York State Foundation for Science Technology and Innovation (NYSTAR) to assist small
New York based businesses develop and improve their products through university collaborations, leading to
revenue growth and new jobs.

G3i will collaborate with Margaret Frey, professor of fiber science and apparel design, to use nanoparticles to
make textiles water repellant without the use of harmful fluorochemicals. “We are delighted to have been
selected by the Jumpstart Review Board,” said G3i President Alex Qiao “the joint efforts of CCMR and G3i
will move us faster towards our goal of developing a fluorochemical free finish for the textile industry”. G3
Technology Innovations uses green nanotechnology principles which significantly increase the effectiveness of

Jumpstart projects receive up to $5,000 for project costs, which is matched by up to $10,000 by participating
companies. The program chooses projects with the greatest potential for creating mutually beneficial, long-
term relationship with Cornell University. CCMR is primarily funded by the National Science Foundation.
