Installing TN3270 Emulator(Mocha) in your computer
If you have own PC and want to install desktop emulator (Mocha) on your computer, follow instructions
below to download and install.

Step 1.Create C:\Mochasoft Directory on your computer.

Step 2.Download mocha.zip file to c:\mochasoft folder in your computer.

Step 3.Unzip downloaded mocha.zip file.

Step 4.Creating short-cut on your desktop.

Step 5. Lauching program and configuration.



Step 1.Create C:\Mochasoft Directory on your computer.

1.1. Click               at bottom left corner of your screen.


1.2. Click                              button.

1.3. At "Run" input screen, type "CMD" as shown below then click [OK]




AT DOS prompt screen as shown below,

1.4. Type "CD\" then hit [Enter] key.
1.5. Type "MD MOCHASOFT" then hit [Enter] key.
1.6. Type "Exit" to close screen.




Now you created folder named "Mochasoft" under C:\ directory

Step 2. Download mocha.zip file to mochasoft folder in your computer

2.1. Click here to download the file and at "File Download" Screen as shown below, click [SAVE]
button.




2.2. At Save As screen as shown below, select "mochasoft" then click [Save] button.
You may need to use the drop-down button to select "mochasoft" folder.

2.3. At "Download complete" screen as shown below, click [Close] button.




If you are asked to overwrite exsisting file, type "y" to overwrite.
Now you have downloaded mocha.zip file and stored under the folder named "Mochasoft".

Step 3.Unzip downloaded mocha.zip file.

[Note] You must have Winzip program installed in your computer. If you do not have one, download an
install it before you proceed.

3.1. Right-click               at bottom left corner of your screen.

3.2. select [explore] from the menu as shown below.




3.3. Select C:\mochasoft from file folder.
3.4. Double-click mocha.zip file.




After you double-click mocha.zip file, you will see following screen.

3.5. Click "Actions" then select "Select ALL".
3.6. Click "Actions" then select "Extract".
Now your screen should be similar to the one shown below.
If "Extract to:" value is "C:\mochasoft" then click [Extract] button.




Now all files are unzipped in c:\mochasoft directory(folder).
You may close Winzip program.

Step 4.Creating short-cut on your desktop.

4.1. Right-click                at bottom left corner of your screen.

4.2. select [explore] from the menu as shown below.




4.3. Select C:\mochasoft from file folder.
Your C:\mochasoft folder now has 10 files that are necessary to access AAMU mainframe.




4.4. Right-click "MTN3270" icon, select "Send To" then select "Desktop(create shortcut)" as shown
below.

4.5. Close "Explore" screen.
Now you have created shortcut to program at your desktop.

Step 5. Lauching program and configuration.

5.1. From your desktop, double-click Program icon titled "shortcut to mtn3270"




There are at least three (3) settings must be configured correctly in order to access AAMU mainframe.
5.2 Setting Connecting host name.
Select "File->Connect" from the menu and enter as shown in below then click "OK"




5.3 Selecting Terminal type.

Select "Settings->Termtype.." from the menu and select "IBM-3270-2-E" then click [OK].




5.4 Entering Licensing info.
Select "Settings->license..." from the menu and enter "License to:" and "License Key" values as shown i
below.
