					LARRY KING CARDIAC FOUNDATION CHOOSES MOMENTUM WELLNESS TO DRIVE “HEALTH ACROSS AMERICA” CAMPAIGN
NEW YORK (March 10, 2009) -- Momentum Wellness, a McCann Worldgroup Company, was selected by the Larry King Cardiac Foundation as agency-of-record driving marketing and partnership development in support of its national campaign “Health Across America.” The program provides funding for critical cardiac procedures and screenings for America’s growing population of citizens that are uninsured or have limited means and educates the medical and professional community about heart health issues.

Momentum Wellness, formed in January 2009 as a collaboration between leading global marketing agencies Momentum Worldwide and McCann Healthcare Worldwide, is charged with expanding support of the campaign to wellness–focused partners from the retail, packaged goods, travel, entertainment and insurance sectors as well as more traditional pharmaceutical and medical device companies.

Currently, through the “Health Across America” program, the Foundation provides free health screenings and consultations in conjunction with leading cardiovascular centers such as The Cleveland Clinic, NY Presbyterian, Jackson Memorial, George Washington University Hospital,and LA County Hospital. The goal of the program is to be able to locate the funds to provide the screenings, consultations and procedures to many more people in need.

Outreach efforts have already attracted support from key corporate partners including Microsoft Health Vault, Astra Zeneca, Quaker Oats, Merck, King Pharmaceutical and healthcare associations including the American Medical Association, American Diabetes Association, and the American College of Cardiology.
