Communications Strategy Adopted from the PGWC
•
Key stakeholder representatives would be stationed at a Joint Operation Centre (JOC) to ensure that any transport situation can be diffused as and when they occur.
•
All personnel, including transport managers, drivers, general staff and volunteers would be given sufficient training and instruction to use a defined communications network which includes two-way radios, mobile phones, land lines, email and facsimile .
The JOC will have a Transport Operations Centre (TOC) reporting to it. All buses will be tracked and monitored on a real-time basis in order to ensure that they stay on-route and to advise the driver if they adhering to their respective timetables
