Spring Trail 2009-2010 PTO Board Elections
Did you know that as a parent of a student at Spring Trail, you are
already a member of the PTO. We are looking for ambitious,
friendly, motivated people to fill officer positions on our PTO
Board for the next school year. Each office is served by “Co-
positions” where the duties are shared by more than one person.
~1st VP’s are responsible for planning assemblies, yearbook,
school directory and other areas of service.
~2nd VP’s oversee all fundraising activities.
~Secretaries are responsible for recording the minutes of meetings,
preparing agendas, the monthly calendar and other types of
~Treasurer is responsible for keeping records of all funds received
and all expenditures, making bank deposits and preparing a
monthly budget report.
We are always looking of new people and new ideas. This is your
opportunity to make a difference in your child’s school. You may
nominate yourself or be nominated by another parent. It’s as easy
as calling or emailing a member of the nominating committee.
Elections will be held at our May 5th PTO meeting. All nominees
must be present at this meeting.
If you are interested in being more involved but don’t feel a board
position is right for you, we are always looking for people to chair
