Tenure-Track Positions for 2009-2010 (1) Entrepreneurship/Strategy, and (2) Organizational Behavior University of Richmond, Robins School of Business http://business.richmond.edu/ The Department of Management at the Robins School of Business, University of Richmond, invites applications for two tenure-track positions to begin fall 2009. One position is in Entrepreneurship with a secondary emphasis in strategic management. The candidate selected will teach entrepreneurship and strategic management courses in the undergraduate and MBA program. The second position is primarily in Organizational Behavior. The candidate selected will teach organizational behavior in the undergraduate and MBA programs and may also have opportunities to teach electives in secondary areas of interest (international management, human resources, entrepreneurship, leadership, etc.). Tenure-track faculty normally teach five courses per year with an average class size of twenty or fewer. Selected faculty will also be expected to conduct meaningful research aimed at publication in top-tier scholarly journals. Tenure-track faculty are eligible to apply for a one-semester research sabbatical during their third-year. Candidates are expected to have completed or be near completion of the Ph.D. The preferred candidates will be at the Assistant or, possibly, Associate level, depending on qualifications, and will have some prior business experience. Evidence of teaching excellence is very important. The Robins School of Business is part of a private, highly selective university, with a liberal arts orientation and a rising national and international profile. U.S. News & World Report, as well as other college guides, consistently rank University of Richmond as one of the nation’s top universities. A recent Business Week ranking of undergraduate business programs put the Robins School in the top 20 nationally (#5 in academic quality). Our part-time MBA program is ranked in the nation’s top 15.
