The Lady Shockers took the field Wednesday afternoon looking for
their third win of the season. An early goal off of a corner kick from 7th
grade Lizzie Melching was put in the goal by fellow 7th grader Ellie
Deaver. The lone goal would be enough to win as Elizabeth Moshier
and Anna Dalton combined again in goal for their third straight shut-
out. This brings the girls record to 3-1 on the season and they will play
again this Monday at Alexander Graham.
The boys' team looked to stay unbeaten on the season against the only other unbeaten team in the con-
ference. Goalkeeper Isaiah Johnson was able to secure his first shutout of the season and 8th grader
Louis Robinson scored his first goal in the 3-0 win. The other goals were scored by Neta Lavi, giving
him 8 on the season. The boys look for their first win over AG in three years this Monday at 4:45.
The Shocker boys' team was back in action and came away with a 4-1 victory over the Carmel Cougars.
The boys were led by captain Neta Lavi with a hat trick for the day. 8th grader Kevin Wang scored his
second goal of the season. The 3-0 Shockers face an undefeated JM Robinson team this Wednesday at
The Lady Shockers were also able to stay on the right side of scoring and came away with a 2-0 victory.
Goals were scored by 8th grader Megan Gray and 7th grader Ellie Deaver. Goalkeepers Anna Dalton
and Elizabeth Moshier provided the Shockers with their second straight shutout of the season. This
pulls the girls' record to 2-1.
The girls' team opened play and came away with a 1-0 victory against Crestdale. Morgan Lochbihler
scored a late goal and Elizabeth Moshier preserved the shutout in goal. This brings the girls' record to
1- 1 on the season.
The boys' team provided early fireworks and late drama by escaping Crestdale with a 3- 2 victory.
Shocker goals were scored by Neta Lavi, Jared Kent, and Jonathan Strilka. The win keeps the boys un-
beaten and atop the conference standings.
The boys' soccer team was able to hold off a strong team from Community House and escape with a 4-3
victory. Kevin Wang and Andrew Zendan each had one goal while Neta Lavi contributed 2.
The girls' team was not so fortunate in their first game of the season and fell by a score of 3-1 to Commu-
nity House. The lone Shocker goal came from 7th Grader Hannah Kay.
Coaches Swistak and Sawyer would like to congratulate the Boys Track Team on a
very successful first meet of the season. We took 2nd just behind last year’s league
champ (Crestdale) and beat Quail Hollow by 35 points!

in the 1600 (5:03 ties school record!), 800 (2:25), and 2nd in the 400 (1:01); Bentley Spain (scoring 10
pts) with wins in Discus (121’10”) and Shot Put (42’7”); and Jack Scharf finishing 2nd in both 110 Hur-
