The BFA in Music Dance Theatre is an interdisciplinary degree offered by the College of Fine Arts and Communications through the cooperative involvement of its School of Music and Department of Theatre and Media Arts and the College of Health and Human Performance’s Department of Dance. This is a limited enrollment program requiring departmental admissions approval. Please see the Fine Arts and Communications College Advisement Center for information regarding requirements for admission to this major. Live and taped auditions for entrance into the MDT major are in the January preceding fall registration. Students may begin the MDT major in the fall only. Participate in proficiency examinations in each of the three areas at the end of each semester. Failure in two or more areas over two consecutive semesters constitutes termination of major status.
