“Ron” Melton, a native Mississippian, demonstrates a long-term interest in supporting
our communities through involvement with many charities including The Community
Foundation of South Alabama. He has a special interest in community development and
education. "I consider being asked to serve as Chair of the CFSA Board an honor and a
privilege. I believe the power of philanthropy and the importance of supporting
organizations and initiatives that create a better community are essential ideas to develop
and promote. CFSA plays a very important role in achieving this goal and making our
community a better place in which to live and enjoy life."
