2009 Crooked Creek Lake Pavilion Reservation Request 2009 pavilion reservation requests for Crooked Creek Lake will be accepted by mail only from February 5, 2009 through March 5, 2009. (Requests received prior to February 5, 2009 will be returned.) Over-the-counter (walk- in) reservation requests will be accepted at the Park Office, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. through 3:00 p.m., beginning March 6, 2009. Payment, in the exact amount, is required with all reservation requests. Checks and money orders will be made payable to “F.A.O. USAED, Pittsburgh”. Personal checks must include name, address, daytime telephone number and driver’s license number. Cash will be accepted for over-the-counter reservations. Reservation requests will be filled in the order in which they are received. Every effort will be made to accommodate the request with the top three choices. If that is not possible, the Point of Contact will be called at the daytime telephone number provided. Pavilion reservation fees DO NOT include Day Use Fees at the Tunnelville Swimming Beach Area. Visitors pay that fee at the Fee Collection Station at the entrance to the beach. For additional information on the Tunnelville Swimming Beach, please ask for a free copy of the beach rules. 2. When reserving pavilions, Golden Age/Access Passports or America the Beautiful discount cards can be used ONLY by organized senior citizen or special needs groups where the whole group meets the qualifications. These discount cards are not issued by the Corps of Engineers, however, we honor them. 3. Exchanging dates is not permitted. Under certain emergency conditions, the Manager may issue a Credit Voucher to be used within one year for a similarly priced pavilion rental. Rain cancellations do not qualify for consideration for a Credit Voucher. 4. Posting of personal signs, balloons, paper plates, etc. on park signs is not permitted. Personal signs may be placed on stakes or boxes at key intersections. Any personal signs placed must be removed at the end of your pavilion rental period. 5. Bring your cardboard permit (the receipt) on the day of your event. Place it in the holder located on the pavilion post. 6. Please wait until 8:00 am. to set-up to allow time for scheduled maintenance and janitorial services. 7. Driving off the roadways to load or unload and parking in the grass at pavilion is not permitted. Contact a Park Ranger for designated overflow parking area locations. 8. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted. 9. Pavilion reservations are for pavilions only. Restrooms, ball fields, playground equipment and game courts located near pavilions are not included in the reservation fee. 10. Horseshoes must be played on the horseshoe courts only. 11. Horseshoes, basketballs, volleyballs, baseballs and bats are not available to rent. Visitors must furnish their own equipment. 12. Title 36 of the Code of Federal Regulations governs the public use of Crooked Creek Lake administered by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. These regulations are posted throughout the Day Use Areas and are available at the Park Office or by contacting a Park Ranger. All visitors must follow the regulations for their safety and enjoyment.
