January The regular monthly meeting was called to order

        The regular monthly meeting was called to order by President Mike Mayhood at
Fred’s Inn.

       Our guest for this evenings meeting was Mary El Emerson.

       We have received a message from the Lions gavel saying that it has been
kidnapped. The only clues that we have of the gavel’s where abouts are “mount up and
head east.” Therefore our first meeting February the 10th will be at the Rock Inn in Mt.
Upton.

       Oxford High School Drama Club is looking for patrons to cover costs of costumes
and scenery for Hello Dolly, March 20 & 21.Lion Mike made the motion to donate
$25.00 to this organization. Lion Dave seconded. All approved.

        Lion Mike reports that we have 6” of ice so far and we need 12”. A sign up sheet
will be going around the room. Please be sure to include your name on this list.

        Our food permit is in order and the Lion Dave will make sure the trailer is ready
to go with full tanks. He will also move it into place Friday before the derby. Lion Carol
will assist Carol Loefstedt.

        Big Cat Radio station has lined up sponsor so they will be doing a Live Remote
on the ice from 7 to 10 AM

       Lion Dave and Mary El are opening up the house for a Holiday Party, Friday
January 30 at 6:00 PM.
