HSU Experiential Workshop in Universal Sufism February 20-22, 2009 Gist Hall Room 02 The Garden of the Heart Sufi Community has been invited once again to coordinate this workshop at Humboldt State University. It is offered for credit through the Religious Studies Department. All members of our Sufi community are invited to attend any part or all of the workshop at no charge. There will be 30-40 HSU students enrolled as well. Friday evening and Sunday morning are especially enhanced by the presence of experienced dancers and musicians. If you can only attend a portion of the workshop, please come then. It will be a participatory event and all are invited. Child Care at the Dances: At the moment, there is no separate room/space for the children. We ask that parents work out a system of supervision for them. If you would like us to rent an extra room for the children, please contact Ananda. Children are always welcome in the dances under the guidance of the people who brought them. Fee Assistance: As a part of our service to local Sufi community members, we offer fee assistance to help cover some of the cost of attending local or more-distant Sufi camps and events. If you feel that you could use and might qualify for assistance, then please let one of the dance leaders know. If you would like to contribute to this fund to help make this possible, please give your donation to one of the dance leaders and request that it be earmarked for the scholarship fund.
