About SL:MIMA
The Swan Lake: Moving Image & Music Award is an award programme created to honour the very best in the new age music video clip creation. The award aims to couple educational multimedia teaching programmes with music and digital art, focusing in discovering and promoting young talents from all over Europe and beyond.
The Competition
The basis of the SL:MIMA is the creation of stimulating non-interactive and, for the first time in 2009, interactive visual imagery set to the new age piano music genre. On successful registration the entrants gain access to the download area where high quality MP3 format tracks may be preselected and downloaded for the video clip production.
Categories
The SL:MIMA 2009 entries will be judged in three categories depending on the dominant use of technology 1. Computer Animation 2. Digital Film 3. Interactive Movie
