2009 NAFSA Advocacy Day Grants NAFSA Region V is proud to announce that it has designated $1,000 for five $200 grants for participants to attend Advocacy Day. These awards will be given to offset an individual’s travel expenses and/or registration fee. NAFSA Advocacy Day 2009 is being held March 25-26 in Washington, DC. Registration has already begun so please reply as soon as possible if you are interested in participating. Please note: The intent of this grant is to provide opportunities for as many people as possible to attend Advocacy Day. Therefore, those not receiving a state grant will be given primary consideration. Grant Application Deadline: March 6, 2009 Eligibility and Application Procedures: Must be an international educator in Region V. Submit a statement of purpose describing your interest in Advocacy Day and how your participation will benefit you personally and professionally.
