This Quickstart explains how to convert an AIFF file to an MP3.


    1. Turn the computer on.
    2. Click on the iTunes       icon on Dock.
    3. Click on Library icon on the iTunes screen.

    4. Use the mouse to drag the .aiff file and drop the file in the Library.

    5. Click once on the .aiff file that you have dropped in the Library to select it.

    6. Select Advanced from the Menu Bar.



    7. Select Convert to MP3.

    8. Click and drag the converted mp3 file to your Folder located on the SAVE
       FILES HERE drive or other location, such as CD-ROM, Zip Disk, or eDisk.




    NOTE: The .mp3 format will appear in the Library. Converting a file does not
    delete the original format and does not change the name of the file itself.
    Converting a file only changes the format of the file. The format of the file is
    located under the Kind column in iTunes.

    File format can also be determined by selecting the file name from the Library
    and clicking on File > Get Info.


    TIP: To convert all the audio files in a folder or on a disk, hold down the
    Option key and choose Advanced > "Convert Selection to."
