TOWNSHIP OF MOORESTOWN RESOLUTION NO. ZBA-2009-01
A RESOLUTION SETTING THE ANNUAL MEETING SCHEDULE OF THE ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MOORESTOWN FOR 2009 WHEREAS, the “Open Public Meetings Act,” Chapter 231, P.L. 1975, requires adequate notice of meetings of public bodies as defined therein; and WHEREAS, said act also requires notice of the schedule of annual meetings of said bodies. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the following shall set forth the meeting schedule for the year 2009: 1. During the year 2009, the Board of Adjustment shall meet in the auditorium of the William Allen Middle School, 801 North Stanwick Road, Moorestown, New Jersey, each month at 7:30 p.m. on the dates listed on the attached Notice of Annual Meetings and Schedule of Meetings, unless otherwise noticed. 2. The Board sets the date and time for its reorganization meeting of 2010 as January 19, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. in the William Allen Middle School Auditorium, 801 N. Stanwick Road, Moorestown, New Jersey. 3. Special Meetings of the Board of Adjustment may be called by the Chairman; Vice-Chairman; or two or more members of the Board of Adjustment. 4. Notice of a Special Meeting shall be delivered to the residence of each Board Member, the office of the Township Clerk, the official newspapers of the Township of Moorestown and posted on the Bulletin Board at Town Hall, at least 48 hours prior to the time of the Special Meeting. 5. Twelve dollars ($12) per calendar year, is hereby determined to be the sum prepaid for copies of Board of Adjustment meeting notices and agendas, provided for in Section C. 10-4-19 of Chapter 231, P.L. 1975; however, notices requested by the news media shall be mailed to such news media free of charge. 6. The Notice of Annual Meetings and Schedule of Meetings for the year 2009 is annexed hereto and the Board Secretary is directed to post, mail and file said Notice and Schedule as required by law. The Board Secretary shall also prepare, post, mail, file and maintain all other notices required by the State of New Jersey Open Public Meetings Act, Chapter 231, P.L. 1975. 7.
