Adding Clip Art to a Word Document using Clip Art on Office Online
The searchable feature of the on-line Office clip art makes it easy to find graphics for your
projects, no matter what subject.
Go to your menu bar>>Insert>>Picture>>Clip Art. The clip art pane opens – to make sure you
have the widest selection, go to the bottom and select “Clip Art on Office Online.” You need to
connect to the Internet to access this.
The selection window opens and you can choose the type of media you want.
In this case, I typed in “network” and selected a graphic from the third page I came to. When you
double click on the graphic, it opens in a larger window, and you can choose “Copy.” The
window also gives you information about the graphic size and type.
After you have copied the graphic, you can paste it directly into your document and resize it by
selecting it and dragging the handles. You can add text boxes and arrows to the clip art to
enhance your work.
