Course                Following successful completion of the course, trainees will be able to:-
Objectives
                              Identify the legal system
                              Develop their knowledge on Health, Safety and welfare issues.
                              Promote a positive attitude towards Health and Safety.
                              Assess, plan and evaluate the presentation of health and safety.
                              Use the modular health and safety sessions to support existing training courses
                              Prepare for health and safety assessments.
                              Formulate an action plan on Health and Safety issues.
                              Identify sources of further information.

Who is the            Owners of businesses, Managers, Team leaders, Senior supervisors, Lantra Awards
Course For?           registered Instructors/Assessors non registered instructors/assessors and anyone else with
                      an interest in health and safety.

                      People working within land based or related industries, with responsibility for Health and
                      Safety and Risk Assessment. People who may have an administrative role with regard to
                      health and safety. Those who wish to improve their own knowledge for their personal
                      development.

Aims                          To develop knowledge on Health, Safety and Welfare
                              To develop theoretical and practical understanding of Risk Assessment
                              To assist delegates in building their confidence in the subject of health and safety
                              To enable delegates to be able to apply their knowledge within their business
                              To enable delegates to have a greater understanding of health and safety to enable
                               them to discuss any issues with their own clients, staff, contractors, outside health
                               and safety specialists, consultants or advisors in any aspects of their work.
                              To provide proof of health and safety training in the land-based environment
