Colorwheel Painting Warranty Information
Interior Warranty:
Seven (7) year warranty on all labor for interior painting work. This warranty also includes coverage on accidental damage and standard wear and tear such as: Wall repairs up to 4 square feet (from doorknobs to a baseball, nicks from moving, etc) Repainting surfaces that were scribbled on by crayon, marker, pencil, etc Peeling, chipping, nicks and dings on any surface, including trim, windows, doors, baseboards, etc. Caulking separation gaps in crown molding, baseboard, etc
Exterior Warranty:
Seven (7) year warranty on all labor for exterior painting work. This warranty includes coverage on standard wear and tear to doors, windows, and surface remedy to common failures such as loose, peeling paint. This warranty is pro-rated in the following way: Year 1: 100% of labor is covered by Colorwheel. Year 2: 100% of labor is covered by Colorwheel. Year 3: 30% of original contract price is discounted off of the new labor price* Year 4: 25% of original contract price is discounted off of the new labor price* Year 5: 20% of original contract price is discounted off of the new labor price* Year 6: 15% of original contract price is discounted off of the new labor price* Year 7: 10% of original contract price is discounted off of the new labor price* Supplies & Paint are a cost to the client; most clients should have leftover paint remaining from the original job. This warranty, for all years mentioned, does not cover acts of vandalism, terrorism, damage from theft, violent acts of nature, or anything else deemed by Colorwheel to be a negligent act such as, but not limited to, allowing ice daming to cause water damage to soffits or siding. This warranty does not cover “ground” surfaces such as porches, balconies, decks, painted floors, or sills. This warranty also does not cover deck, porch, or balcony components like spindles and handrails, as these items often need yearly work in the Milwaukee area. *Price discounted is for the portion of the original contract that pertains to the failed area.
About Both Warranties:
Both warranties ARE transferable. Please feel free to let prospective buyers know that these warranties exist. Both warranties are also subject to normal scheduling conditions that Colorwheel encounters, in most cases; these items should be remedied within 1 month as long as weather cooperates.
