From Toronto Take Hwy 400 North to Hwy 69 (toward Sudbury), then west at Sudbury on Hwy 17 to Hwy 144 at Lively. Turn North to the end of Hwy 144. Gas up on Hwy. 144 in Chelmsford. At the end of Hwy 144, turn left on Hwy 101 West. For your convenience, Liquor, Beer and limited supplies can be purchased at The White Birch Outpost, just 8 kms after your turn onto Hwy. 101. Follow Hwy. 101 West approximately 34 kms. (21 miles) . Turn left after Horwood Lake Lodge sign on the Kenogaming Road, then follow the signs to lodge - after 7 kms. (4 miles), stay right at the “Y”. Continue on main road until crossing railway tracks, then turn right onto Penhorwood Road for another 8 kms. (5 miles). Horwood Lake Lodge entrance road is on your left. From Sault Ste. Marie Follow Hwy 17 East towards Sudbury. At Thessalon turn left on Hwy 129 North. Near Chapleau turn right on to Hwy. 101 East. Continue on Hwy. 101 East approximately 60 kms. (40 miles). Gas Up At Foleyet. Continue past the Horwood Road until you come to the Horwood Lake Lodge blue & white Ontario road sign. Turn right on the Kenogaming Road - follow signs to lodge. After 7 kms. (4 miles) stay right at the Y. Continue on the main road until crossing railway tracks, then turn right at the Penhorwood Road sign for another 8 kms. (5 miles). Horwood Lake Lodge road entrance is on your left.

orwood Lake Lodge has been a Northeastern Ontario traditiion for over 50 years. Established in 1953, the lodge sits on a peninsula that extends out into Hardiman Bay on the eastern arm of Horwood Lake. The lake itself has long been known for it’s abundant, trophy sized Walleye (pickerel) population, along with some amazing Northern Pike fishing. This has drawn literally thousands of people from all walks of life, from around the world, to it’s waters for great fishing opportunities and it’s amazing natural beauty.

ur fleet of boats at Horwood Lake Lodge 16’ Mirro Craft open flat floor design, all new in 2008. They come with high-backed swivel seats, depth finders, aerated live-wlls, running lights, bilge pumps and are powered by 20HP Yamaha 4 stroke motors. The boats are set up with your comfort and safety in mind and are inluded with all of our packages at no additional cost.
