2008 Kentucky Derby & Oaks Hospitality & Security Procedures
Churchill Downs will again implement special hospitality and safety measures for the 134th runnings of the Kentucky Derby & Kentucky Oaks. Patrons are advised to arrive early on both days to accommodate expanded search procedures at all entrance gates. All patrons are subject to being scanned by magnetic wands before entry to Churchill Downs. Admission gates (1, 3, 10 and 17) will be open on Oaks (May 2) & Derby (May 3) days at 8 a.m. (All times EDT). First post is scheduled for 11 a.m. on both days.
