INSTRUCTIONS FOR WEB TIME ENTRY TIME SHEETS HOURLY EMPLOYEES
Procedure for Employee 1. 2. Go to EC Web Link Login: https://ecweb.eckerd.edu/ Login Eckerd ID Number/Username and PIN/Password. On the right hand column of EC Web login screen is a description of acceptable logins. Click on “Employee Services” Click on “Time Sheet” Select the pay period from the drop down box and click on “Time Sheet” Click on “Enter Hours” for the type of hours to be recorded. The following time can be recorded: Regular Payroll Holiday Over Regular Jury Duty Over Time Inclement Weather Vacation Pay Bereavement FMLA (Personal, Sick or Vacation) Sick Pay (Self or Family) Leave w/o Pay w/ Benefits Personal Leave Things to watch out for when entering time: • Select AM or PM • The work week runs Sunday to Saturday • Regular Hours are those worked during the work week up to and including 37.5 hours (excludes leave hours) • Over Regular Hours are those worked during the work week from 37.5 to 40 hours • Overtime are those hours worked during the work week over 40 hours. • Because the pay period often begins in the middle of the week – consult prior time sheets to see if an OR or OT situation exists. Once all time entry is entered, press “Submit for Approval” button. Check back periodically to make sure approver has approved in time frame allotted (refer to Pay Schedule).

Approvals Once you submit the time sheet for approval, your approver will review the time sheet and approve or return for correction. If it is returned for correction, the approver will list in the “Comments” section the reason why returned (corrections to dates, times, etc). Make the necessary corrections and resubmit for approval. After final approval, the time sheet will be processed for the pay period pay date.
Liaisons A departmental liaison is a person who assists employees in that department with web time entry. If the liaison has a question they are unable to answer, they are responsible for contacting the Payroll Specialist for clarification.

Viewing Pay Information Eckerd College payroll is a paperless payroll system. The “Employee Services” section of the EC Web provides the following information: • Benefits and Deductions • Pay Information o Earnings and Deductions History o Pay Stubs • Tax Forms • Jobs Summary • Leave Balances Pay Schedules Pay schedules can be found at www.eckerd.edu/businessoffice/payrollservices Pay schedules list cut off dates for web time entry and approvals.
