STRAWBERY BANKE MUSEUM CHAPERONE SHEETS
Please photocopy and distribute this sheet to all your Chaperones.
Thank you for being a Chaperone on this field trip to Strawbery Banke Museum! This sheet is designed to help you – the Chaperone – have an exciting day visiting the museum with your group of students.
GUIDELINES:
The following considerations will help your group have an enjoyable learning experience at Strawbery Banke Museum: When you receive your group of students at the start of your visit, please remind them that they: • Need to stay with you at all times. Please remember that we often have 400 students visiting the museum each day. It is very easy for a student to get lost. • Must follow YOU into the buildings. • Should try to enter buildings quietly so as not to disturb other school groups and adult visitors who are already inside. • Cannot take ANY food or drink (including candy & gum) into the buildings. • Cannot pick flowers, walk in flowerbeds, climb trees, touch artifacts or walls inside the buildings. Please let your students know that they CAN: Picnic on or near the picnic tables or on Puddle Dock. Take pictures at the museum. Shop in the Museum Store with adult supervision (if your lead teacher approves).
