Re: 2010 State FFA Evaluation Assistance

The Ohio FFA Association would like to afford you the opportunity to participate in the State
FFA Evaluation at the Tolles Technical Center on March 5-6, 2010. By volunteering to
participate in the State FFA Evaluation, you will have the opportunity to learn first-hand about
the evaluation process in Ohio and to help select the next group of potential national Proficiency
Award winners.

The Ohio FFA Association provides breakfast and lunch on both days, and overnight lodging for
those traveling more than 60 miles one-way. Overnight accommodations will be at the Hampton
Inn Dublin, 3920 Tuller Rd, Dublin, Ohio 43017, (614) 889-0573. Rooming is based on double
occupancy but single rooms can be reserved, for a slight cost, by contacting me at or at (614) 466-3077. Additionally, if you are eligible to stay
overnight at the hotel, we will reimburse you for Friday’s dinner on your travel voucher.

We realize that we are asking for a significant amount of time; however, others who have helped
in the past have said that they thoroughly enjoyed the experience, particularly interviewing the
students to determine the final placing. Please check your calendar, indicate your availability on
the following page, and return it to the Ohio FFA Association by February 1, 2010. Upon
receiving your positive reply, we will send you a follow-up letter with final instructions
approximately two weeks before the evaluation date. If these dates do not accommodate your
schedule, feel free to pass this letter to someone within your organization that may be interested
in helping the FFA. We look forward to working with you this year.
