Exhibit I Rev. 2 1
CLAUSE 1 – SUBMITTAL/DELIVERABLE REQUIREMENTS
A submittal is any item that is required to be provided to the CONTRACTOR and must be reviewed by the
CONTRACTOR for technical, legal, or commercial adequacy to ensure it meets the full terms and conditions
of the subcontract.
Deliverables are all other subcontract or work release required items not included on the Subcontractor
Submittal Requirements Summary (SSRS) form (Attachment A). Deliverables tend to be more routine
business or administrative correspondence required to complete the scope of work.
The SUBCONTRACTOR shall make submittals and deliverables in accordance with all Subcontract Exhibits,
and this clause. In addition to Exhibit A, General Conditions clause entitled “Order of Precedence”, all other
subcontract Exhibits take precedence over Exhibit I and the SSRS form (Attachment A) and Deliverables
Summary (Attachment B).
The SSRS form (Attachment A) and the Deliverables Summary (Attachment B) summarize the requirements
of the full text clauses in the Exhibits, but do not include all potential submittals/deliverables required by the
clauses incorporated in Exhibit A General Condition “Government Clauses Incorporated by Reference” and
Exhibit B Special Condition “Government Clauses Incorporated by Reference”.
All submittals prepared for this subcontract shall show the following information in or near the title block:
• Paducah Remediation Services LLC Subcontract Number PRS-BA-065
• Work Release No. (if applicable)
WITH EACH SEPARATE SUBMITTAL, A COPY OF THE SSRS FORM SHALL BE INCLUDED WITH THE
SUBMITTAL TITLE OF ITEM(S) CIRCLED.
Whenever possible, related items shall be submitted together to permit simultaneous review. When such
submittal is not possible, submittals shall be in an appropriate sequence to ensure necessary information is
available for reviewing each item as it is received.
CLAUSE 2 – SUBMITTAL/DELIVERABLE RECIPIENTS
Submittals of all items as identified on the SSRS form shall be made directly to the Paducah Remediation
Services, LLC Project Manager (unless noted otherwise under the reviewer column of Attachment A) at the
mailing or Fed-Ex Address listed on the form (Attachment A).
CLAUSE 3 – TYPES OF SUBMITTALS
Each submittal shall be an unfolded, direct reading, first-generation copy the same size as the original. The
size of documents submitted shall not be less than 8-1/2 inches by 11 inches nor more than 30 inches by 42
inches. Each document submitted shall be of a sufficient quality to produce clearly legible / readable third-
generation copies using either diazo or electrostatic (Xerox type) processes and clearly legible / readable
microfilm and copies from the microfilm.

B. Electronic Media (EM)
Electronic copies shall be submitted for specified submittals. The electronic copy shall be an exact version of
the document and in the following software formats:
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), WordPerfect 7.0 or higher, or other as directed
by the CONTRACTOR.
If software other than the specified listing is used to create the document or a portion of the document, a
Portable Data Format (PDF) version of the file is required for that document or that portion of the document.
The PDF version shall also be a complete and exact copy of the document.
Electronic files shall be submitted via e-mail or compact disk.
Submit one electronic file complete, with all figures, drawings, etc. included. If drawings/figures/etc. are
paste-ups in the original document, then they shall be scanned into the electronic file. If a portion of the report
or deliverable cannot be included in the electronic file, such as an E-size drawing, an insert sheet noting this
omission should be included in its place.
If it is not possible to create one complete electronic file because of size issues, individual files shall be
named appropriately (i.e., main text; figure 1, appendix A; etc.)
Electronic files shall be accompanied by a hard copy list of the media contents and a letter of transmittal
including the following:
• Subcontract Number;
• A description of contents per Subcontract SSRS Form, including software, version, document;
number and / or title and electronic file name;
• Number and type of items (floppies, etc.); and
• Note if the submittal is a resubmittal.

CLAUSE 4 – SUBMITTAL STATUS AND RETURN BY CONTRACTOR
Permission to proceed does not constitute acceptance or approval of design details, calculations, analyses,
test methods, or materials developed or selected by the SUBCONTRACTOR, and does not relieve
SUBCONTRACTOR from full compliance with contractual obligations.
Work shall not proceed until documents requiring prior review (see Subcontractor Submittal Requirements
Summary Form) have been returned by CONTRACTOR. SUBCONTRACTOR shall incorporate changes as
required by comments on documents for review. Documents that have been approved (i.e. work may
proceed) by CONTRACTOR shall not be changed without notification to CONTRACTOR and re-submittal of
