operation of biomass fired renewable electricity generation plants. It develops both large and small modular biomass-powered
electricity generation plants. The major projects of the company include Avonmouth project, Rothes project, Stallingborough
project and Southampton project. The company’s 100MW biomass fuelled electricity generating station on a site within the
operational area of the Port of Bristol at Avonmouth was approved by the Department of Energy and Climate Change granted
consent under S36 of the Electricity Act 1989.
