Free Paper Shredding Event Sept. 18 at WPCCU

WESTCHESTER, Calif.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Water and Power Community Credit Union (WPCCU)
is providing free paper shredding services Sat., Sept. 18. Participants will receive a free reusable shopping bag
(while supplies last).
The credit union is providing the free service to help area residents safely dispose of financial statements, billing
records and other sensitive paperwork. Providing the shredding service will help to reduce identity theft for
households that do not own an in-home shredder.
• WHAT: Free paper shredding event
• WHEN: Sat., Sept. 18, 2010
• TIME: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• WHERE: WPCCU Westchester Branch, 8800 S. Sepulveda Blvd., Westchester, 90045
(The shredding trucks will be located in the parking lot, on La Tijera at Sepulveda.)
• WHO: This event is open to all members of the Westchester and Inglewood communities.
Each person may bring up to five bags or boxes of paper to shred.
• COST: None
No appointment is necessary. All documents will be shredded on-site. No business paper waste will be accepted.
Shredding services will be provided by The Shredders, a secure document destruction company serving more than
3,000 businesses throughout Southern California. The Shredders is AAA certified by the National Association for
