Our policy also requires pants, shorts, skirts, and skorts to be made of a twill-like material (no jeans). Students in grades 5 through 8 must wear belts if their bottom wear has belt loops. Older elementary students also may be required to wear belts. However, younger children, such as Kindergartners and first graders, will not have to wear belts. Please check with your elementary school principal to find out specifics on what your school’s rules will be regarding belts for uniforms.
