 AKRON, PA.—Mennonite Central
 Committee (MCC) commissioned 22
 new workers—including four present or
 former Mennonite Church Canada con-
 gregants—for service after they partici-
 pated in an orientation at MCC offices
 in Akron this spring. They include:
 • Emily Dueck of Toronto, Ont., who is
 serving as a coordinator with Toronto
 Ontario Opportunity for Learning and
 Service (TOOLS) and as a street pas-
 tor with Lazarus Rising, a Toronto or-
 ganization addressing homelessness.
 Dueck obtained a bachelor’s degrees
 from Canadian Mennonite University,
 Winnipeg, Man., and a master’s degree
 from Associated Mennonite Biblical
 Seminary, Elkhart, Ind. Dueck attends
