Effective Ad Writing I came up with a neat little cheat sheet to help me identify a target market to match a product or opportunity. Once I’ve identified who my target market is I use this cheat sheet to right an effective ad. eMarketing Triangle Formula and Cheat Sheet I made a simple easy to follow formula and form for writing ads. The Marketing Triangle First I review the Marketing Triangle. All elements of the triangle must be in place or my marketing efforts won't work. Try it, remove one of the elements and imagine if you would what the outcome would be. Marketing Triangle Key Elements • • • Customer/Recruitment Product/Opportunity Promotion Marketing Triangle Customer and Recruitment-Target Market Who are my perspective customers and distributors? One needs to identify who wants their product and who wants to work for you or your company. No problem! Just go to the next part of the Marketing Triangle and start "brainstorming" the possibilities. Product and Opportunity - Reasons for Buying or Participating Who and why does someone need what I have to offer? If you sit down and start jotting ideas on a piece of paper you'll be surprised at what you come up with and you'll know if what your doing now is working or not and why. Get your product in the right market, that’s the idea! If you have an opportunity to promote are you offering it in the right format or area of consideration? Promotion-Advertising Tools or Methods Once I’ve determined who my market is and why they are my market. Then it will make the last part of the Marketing Triangle easier to implement. And this is the most exciting part to implement because if I did my homework right then promotion becomes easy and yI should see results. After I have determined my target market and reasons to participate, the next step is to come up with and with a promotional technique. Using the well known AIDA formula. In writing an effective ad I use this formula:.....AIDA Attention Interest Desire Action Attention The most important part of a classified ad is the headline. I need to get their attention! You'll notice here, I try to get the attention and at the same time include "keywords" for search engines. Customer Service - Work at Home - NO FEES! Interest Once I have their attention then I need to spark an interest. Earn $45 an hour PT taking orders by phone or PC. Desire Now that I’ve sparked an interest then I create a desire to proceed to the next step. FREE training, FREE website and much more - NO COST TO JOIN! Action A call for action! Limited positions available - APPLY ONLINE NOW! Visit Our Web Site: http://www.your URL.com/ID Follow-up Make sure to give them information to make contact or proceed to another step. Some people in the industry say the average number of times one needs to follow-up is "three" before they see results. AD Example: Free Local Classifieds Post 100% Free Classified Ads! Great for writing marketing letters and developing flyers.
