All data is archived for future reference. All edits are recorded and can be traced to who performed changes.  A Wiki project site can be used for each clients individual project: o Viewed by project manager. o Viewed by project team members. o Viewed by client.  A confidential Wiki site for all team members involved in the progress of a project will improve staff communication and collaboration with each other and our clients.  A Wiki will keep all team members informed with the progress of all departments involved in the development of any projects: o Updates on each departments status over the progression of a project.  Separate wiki pages for each department pertaining to the current project: o Project requirements information page. o Audio for all audio content. o Video for all video content. o Text content from copywriters. o Image content from photographers or graphic designers. o Animation content from animators.  Emailing information or memos to and from the blog development site for project manager, clients and all team members involved in a project.  Instant Messaging or comments section from team members, clients or project manager.  A wiki project site will keep all clients involved and informed on the development of their project from start to finish. I just need to convince him with the benefits of using wikis for our project management is a terrific idea. A wiki is similar to a website with its collaborative nature and ease of use it makes the ideal tool for our design and animation projects. Yikes We have been using Microsoft Project for years now and every one knows how to use it. Mr McDuck I have noticed we have been having issues with our project records and the clients are complaining about not being kept up to date with the progress of their projects. Mr Bunny, I am really busy I have some work I have to chase up. Using wiki technology will make your work easier and our team members communicate and collaborate more effectively. It will also store project information in one single place. I have more than enough to deal with I have not got the time to learn anything new. I have this many projects to deal with now! Ok but hurry it up I have loads of work to catch up on. As I said before a wiki is like a website and it is private only team members and our client can access it, they need to login and no one else can even see any of the content. You just click on the edit button to make any changes and these are all recorded so you know who does what and when. That’s great you can see who’s been falling behind. All team members can be contacted by email, instant messaging or you can leave a comment about project work. Clients can also use these features as well and they can view their project progress. Well all their work is carried out on their own page and as I said all work is backed up so it cannot be misplaced. They click on the edit button select one of these widgets to upload any thing from pictures to animations it’s that simple. Well it does seem so much simpler than MS. My work would be so much easier having it in one place. So what do you think of my proposal Mr McDuck? Conclusion My proposal to adopt wiki technology for our project management has been implemented. The team members have found doing all their work for the designs and animations for our projects on the wiki site has been a great success. Since they all can see the progress of each others work, communication and collaboration has improved. Our clients are thrilled to be able to watch the process of their project from start to finish and be able to get changes they require immediately taken care of by the team member responsible by leaving comments or emailing.
