o YEAR_BUILT                   Actual year built
o EFF_YEAR_BUILT               Effective year built. This is an appraisal term and will be
    less than the actual year built if the improvement is not in good condition.

o   TYPE                      Type of improvement
o   CONDITION                 Code used by Appraisers
o   GRADE                     Code used by Appraisers
o   HEIGHT                    Height (not always entered)
o   WIDTH                     Width (not always entered)
o   LENGTH                    Length (not always entered)
o   CAPACITY                  Capacity (not always entered)
o   SIZE                      Size of improvement
o   UNIT TYPE                 unit for the size
o   TRUE_TAX_VALUE            Tax value

Notes:

ACCOUNT refers to the Assessor’s Account number for the tax lot. It is possible for a
tax lot to have more than one account.

MAPTAXLOT refers to the 13 character identifier for the legal description of the tax lot
number (township, range, section, quarter, quarter-quarter, tax lot)

The current system does not use Factor Book Codes.

There can be zero or many improvements per account.
