         Sign Long-term Contract Extension
Teaneck, N.J. (June 29, 2009) — Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) and CardSmith
LLC today announced a multi-year renewal and extension of their campus card-services
agreement. Under the agreement, CardSmith provides Fairleigh Dickinson and its
Teaneck and Madison, N.J., campuses with a comprehensive management service for the
Fairleigh 1Card, the university’s multi-application ID card.

The card features a prepaid flexible spending account — 1Card Cash — that students,
faculty and staff can use to make purchases at the campus bookstore, dining locations,
copy centers, vending machines and business offices and at participating off-campus
businesses surrounding both campuses. Fairleigh 1Card is also used to control spending
for fuel and related purchases for university vehicles and for customized spending plans
for scholar-athletes.

“The Fairleigh 1Card has flourished in the last few years due in large part to our
relationship with CardSmith, and we are pleased to enter into this long-term agreement
extension,” said Robert Valenti, FDU Assistant Vice President for Administration. “The
program has become an important part of university life, popular with our students,
parents, staff and others. This agreement ensures that our campus communities will
continue to enjoy the services CardSmith provides on terms that are transparent and
favorable to the university.”

“We are extremely pleased to extend our relationship with Fairleigh Dickinson
University,” said CardSmith President Jay P. Summerall. “FDU was one of our very first
clients, and our business partnership has grown better and stronger with time. CardSmith
looks forward to continuing our work with the FDU team and to the continued success of
the Fairleigh 1Card program.”
