Abstract: This study will investigate possible relationships between marital status and
socioeconomic factors such as race, gender, age, and annual income. The data was collected
cumulatively from the General Social Survey (GSS), which was obtained from the University of
Chicago from 1972-1994.

Variables (column):
   1. Race (0=Non White, 1=White)
   2. Gender (0=Female, 1=Male)
   3. Age (1=18-27, 2=28-37, 3=38-47, 4=48-57, 5=58-67, 6=68-77, 7=78-89)
   4. Total Family Income (1=less than $1000, 2= $1000-2999, 3=$3000-3999, 4=$4000-
      4999, 5=$5000-5999, 6=$6000-6999, 7=$7000-7999, 8=$8000-9999, 9=$10000-14999,
      10=$15000-19999, 11=$20000-24999, 12=$25000+)
   5. Marital Status (1=Married, 2=Widowed, 3=Divorced, 4=Separated, 5=Never Married)
   6. Frequency (for each subgroup and all of their combinations)

Possible Uses: Logistic Regression, Proportions
