Status:                   Part Time, 6 month probationary period
Hours:                    Wednesdays - 9am-1pm, 2pm– 5:05pm
                          Saturdays – 11:45am – 4:15pm
                          And on call for sick days/vacation
Relevant Work Experience: 2 years +
Education Level:          High School Diploma or equivalent

Wage:                     $10/hour minus applicable deductions

Summary:
The Medical Cannabis Club of Guelph (MCCG) is hiring for the position of front office manager. Patients
enter into the secure front office door, which the Front Office Manager controls the flow of. The Front
Office Manager greets patients, takes the needed information, and answers any questions the patients may
have. The Front Office Manager controls the flow of patients, who individually enter the back office to
purchase their medication. In order to provide high quality patient care, it is important that the Front Office
Manager be knowledgeable about both cannabis as a medicine, and the ailments it can help, in order to be
able to have supportive conversations with our patients. Experience in social service organizations or the
medical sector is preferable. The MCCG is an equal opportunity employer that strives to have a diverse

Duties:
     Create a friendly and supportive waiting room environment
     Converse and confirm information with doctors on a regular basis, in a professional manner
     Control the secure entry way
     Answering office phone
     Booking future appointments and performing orientations
     Assist in creating marketing ventures
     Discussing cannabis varieties with patients, helping to select the strain that suits their needs best
     Researching cannabis, in specific how it works as a medication, to better inform patients
     Evaluate cannabis strains in order to rate them for the “Menu”
     Complete transactions for delivery mechanism products
Skills:
     Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
     High energy level individual with the ability to take the initiative, learn new concepts and adapt.
     Extremely organized and attentive to detail with good communication and interpersonal skills.
     Friendly attitude when dealing with patients and remaining positive under pressure.
     Ability to handle multiple projects/priorities at any given time.
     Ability to work both individually and in a team environment.
     Ability to keep strict confidentiality
     Ability to handle cash and record sales in an organized and efficient manner
     Knowledge of cannabis strains and their effects
     This role is the first point of contact so professionalism and approachability are required.
     Past first aid training is an asset
     Medical and social services work experience is a strong asset
     Knowledge regarding the cultivation of marihuana is a strong asset
