Sir Isaac Newton decided that this statement was true. Describe how he made his discovery.

Nicholaus Copernicus (1473-1543)
Tycho Brahe (1546-1601)
Johannes Kepler (15711630)
Issac Newton (1643-1727)
In 1543, Nicholaus Copernicus came up with the idea that the Sun was at the heart of the Solar System and the planets revolve around it.
November 11, 1572, he wandered out of his workshop and glanced up at the night sky. He saw an extra star in a constellation overhead.
Kepler discovered that the Earth and the other planets in our Solar System travel around the Sun in elliptical orbits.
Issac Newton confirmed it to be true. Just as the Moon around the Earth, the planets in our Solar System are held in motion around the Sun by gravity.
Take a few notes --->
