Who is Easter Seals UCP?
• “As statewide nonprofit, Easter Seals UCP serves a broad range of people with disabilities, such as people with cerebral palsy, autism, spina bifida, mental retardation, muscular dystrophy, stroke, spinal cord injuries, head injuries, hearing and visual impairments, and mental health diagnoses. ” • Services – child development centers, – therapy, – community inclusion services, – residential living, – supported employment, – in-home and community-based supports, – respite care, – disability benefits counseling, – information and referral, – and advocacy.

• January 1st 2004 UCP and Easter Seals merged

– Infant to 5 years old – Goal of 50/50 developmentally normal to disabled children
