scanner. Before programming the scanner, ensure to plug in the 8-pin
DIN connection on the bottom of the scanner and then plug the other end
of the cable to a USB port on your host computer. To properly program
your HE40T scanner to read 1D & 2D data matrix bar codes, scan the
   following bar codes below:

      a. The 1st bar code you will scan will be the “USB Keyboard” bar
         code:

      d. The 4th bar code you will scan is the “Send & Buffer Mode” bar
code. This bar code is used to allow the user to wirelessly scan
         items during a monthly inventory.

         bar code:

* NOTE: If you want to put your HE40T bar code scanner in wireless mode, the
user will unhook the 8 pin DIN connector from the rear of the scanner handle.
DO NOT remove the USB plug connector. This feature will allow the user to
conduct a monthly inventory and once the 8 pin DIN connector is plugged back
in, the scanner will download what was scanned during the inventory.
