All Board Members were present at the all neighborhood meeting held at Hanover City

Vice President: Brent Wittenberg
Secretary: Breena Natzel
Treasurer: Jeff Grupp
At Large: Howard Reines
A: A quorum of at least 7 homes was established. About forty percent of the
association members attended the meeting.
B: Introductions took place.
C: The minutes from the annual meeting in 2006 were approved.
D: Financial Report:
The treasurers report was read along with the 2007 budget and dues. The treasures
report listed the payments coming in and going out. Less money is being spent on
management fees than 2006. More money is budgeted for landscape repairs than in
2006. Six residents have not paid 2005/2006 dues and 12 residents still need to pay
2007 dues. The consequences for not paying dues was explained including the
increase passed on to your neigh boors. The request was made to put the treasures
report on the web site. Bridge improvements were discussed with the
acknowledgement that painting and staining will be needed soon.
2007 Operating Budget:
The budget that was previously approved by the board and sent out to association
members includes the following:
Grounds Maintenance: $6,750
Landscape repairs $4,000
Management Fee: $1,500
Meeting Facilities Rent $125
$16, 625 (65 members @256)
E: Election of Inspectors (Mark & Jim) took place.
Kara Buss (10635 108th) , Tina Goede (10862 Cottage Ln), Dawn Jarl (10702 108th,)
and Brian Smrz (10520 106th Ave) were nominated for board positions. Exact
positions TBD. They all introduced themselves and stated why they would like to be
on the board. To have voting rights, you must be up to date on payment. Dawn
Jarl paid her dues to become eligible. Votes were collected and counted. Dawn
Jarl, Tina Goede, and Brian Smrz were elected. Breena Natzel and Howard Reines
will continue their terms.
G: Unfinished Business: Pumpkin Patch: Steve Geis owns the pumpkin patch and we
are working with him to maintain it. He performed some improvements last fall.
Brent is working with the city on a park for Bridges of Hanover residents. Various
sites were discussed with reminders about what the association owns (outlot A) and
dose not own (land by townhomes/Sr. Center and pumpkin patch) Brent will try to
find out the cities timeline and what options are available. There was a discussion
about what residents want and don’t want in a park, with location, non-resident
attraction, parking, cost, appearance and size as some key factors. Many residents
voiced the desire to have a park near by for the children.
H: We are looking for more members of the Landscape committee. The ARC
committee is functioning well and nothing has been rejected so far. Please go
through the committee when you improve the previously mentioned areas of your
property. This protects us all. An improvement to outlot A was priced and
discussed. It included a sand point, soil improvement, sprinkler system, and sod.
The expense could be as much as $1000. 00 per resident. We are not ready to make
any motions to approve this at this time. Future discussion will occur. The idea
that residents on ponds meet with the landscape committee to discuss ideas for the
ponds was suggested. The option for residents to improving their own pond is still
out there. No one has taken action in this way as of yet. Another option would be
to improve the ponds as an association in 2008. Again, the landscape committee
should head this up. The spring clean-up day is Saturday May 19th 10:00 AM.
We will meet in outlot A. Future meeting dates: May 7th, August 6th, November 5th,
and February 4th to be at Hanover City hall, 6:30. Everyone is welcome to attend.
I: Homeowner Questions: Mentioned in relevant sections.
A motion was made to adjourn. Motion seconded.
