Aeroflot plans 5-star spread for international service
Officials from Aeroflot Russian Airlines took the press through the finer points of its Try The New Aeroflot campaign that promises a first and business class experience akin to a five-star restaurant. The event occurred June 10 at the Sofitel Hotel in Los Angeles. The carrier uses LSG Sky Chefs as a caterer out of the west coast and its flights out of New York. Part of the service is an a la carte menu and new selection of chinaware. A variety of meals are available on the return flight depending on the time of day, and the food is prepared onboard the plane. "Flight goes by unnoticed, as the most beautiful Russian stewardesses attend to the passengers," said a release from Aeroflot.
